Niners, Bird Gauntlet, and Sideline Incident
Speaker 1What's up everyone's Coach. Austin, you're coming to you from Hypershrinked and conditioning with your nerd out and workout podcast, where we nerd out, workout and podcast and I am joined with my host, kevin.
Speaker 2I wrap a rubber gun. What up bro?
Speaker 1And today we're going to be talking about. We're going to talk about a few things. We'll be talking about our Niners. We are big football fans, we're going to be talking about Niners. We're going to be talking about the latest and greatest and the weight loss pill, the magic. It's not even a pill. It finally happened, everyone it's, and I'm sure you've heard of it and if you haven't, it's called oh Zambic.
Speaker 3Oh Zambic, oh Zambic, oh Zambic.
Speaker 2I take oh Zambic.
Speaker 1Then we're going to talk about new dad life Dad gang hashtag. Dad gang hashtag, designed by dads Hashtag established.
Speaker 2If you know, you know.
Speaker 1July, like I don't know 18th Good stuff. Twenty twenty three is when I became a dad and if you know, you know. All right, niners talk. What a game, huge game. Kevin was very drunk when we were watching at a brewery at our one of our good friends baby shower.
Speaker 2I have some notes here. Can I just read them to you? Read the notes Fly, niners, fly on the road to victory. Fight Niners, fight Jesus. Score a touchdown. One, two, three, wow. That's their fight song Really.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2This is called Fly Eagles, fly. Oh, I thought they're nine.
Speaker 1I thought their fight song was more like that's their battle cry, you know, but that's their song.
Speaker 2And then they end with, like, some bullshit, I'm not going to say nothing because it's gay. Oh, oh, it sucks, it sucks, it's, it's terrible dude.
Speaker 1We are not homophobic, we're just no, it just sucks. We're just millennials who are stuck in our slang. There's like this was made in, like the 1960s this song.
Speaker 2So it was just like. I'm sure it was a very, very different time, I'm sure it sounded really great, you know, but 1903. Yeah, sucks ass. You know, and there are. You know they were. They've been talking since the NSC championship like, oh, we're the winers, cause you know, we always say if we had Brock we would have won. Well, we had Brock this time, and look what happened. And then they're, they're now, they're talking about.
Speaker 1Oh, we had to play three games and 13 days.
Speaker 3Oh boohoo. What's the NFL, bro? Nfl, I mean we would have. I mean that's what happened to us.
Speaker 1We last three in a row because we lost. We played like three games and 15 days or some shit. Yeah.
Speaker 2You know it is what it is, so the NFL.
Speaker 1Bro, it's the NFL. Do you think they use AI to like schedule all that shit out?
Speaker 2They are now. They are now, they are now yeah.
Speaker 1Well, kind of AI, like fucked us over, well I mean, but they gave us a good bye week, like it was like in the middle.
Speaker 2Yeah, it was a good bye week. And then also it's crazy, because this we're we're on a five week stretch where we play against teams that are birds, seahawks, eagles, seahawks, cardinals, and then Ravens it's the bird.
Speaker 1What did?
Speaker 2they call it. I don't know it's, it's it's the bird gauntlet the bird gauntlet.
Speaker 1It is a gauntlet, it's gauntlet, it's a pretty good. I mean, we did Philadelphia, I mean that game put a lot of.
Speaker 2We were nervous, I'm not going to lie.
Speaker 1Dude, that first quarter quarter, the first two drives were like as fuck.
Speaker 2When we got that first day, I'm like, okay, I feel a little better. We still punted that one, but I was like at least we got some yards. Yeah, at least we were moving a little bit, and then the water hose just broke and we just scored six straight like possessions or something like that.
Speaker 1I just love the game plan for the D lane, like it was good, it was good.
Speaker 2You know, you know, early they were doing a lot of those stunts and stuff like that and they were running those quick slants. So it was like yeah, that's it's. It's beating us, you know so.
Speaker 1Well, the quick game is going to it's going to time it right, it should beat anyone. Yeah, any type of defense.
Speaker 2So I'm I was glad that our corners and our safeties linebackers were able to like not give up a big catch and run, unlike the Eagles.
Speaker 1Wall D boat. I mean D boat kind of stuff.
Speaker 2Sup.
Speaker 1y'all came in there D boat straight up, like what was it last year. He was like we should be the Super Bowl.
Speaker 2Yeah, he was talking about. He said uh, bradbury trash. You know that's what he said. And they asked him do you uh like, do you want to, do you want to take your words back or anything?
Speaker 1He's like no, when did they ask that they?
Speaker 2asked him in the locker room, like last week or something like that. Oh, before because he said that on a podcast, like before the season started.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2And they're like blah, blah, blah, like. I think I saw that and D boat. You know he was going to, he knew he was going to go off, this will came in all black Right, his cleats hit. I think his warm cleats were black Air Force ones.
Speaker 1Yeah, they were talking about that.
Speaker 2So it was like you know what I was going to have.
Speaker 1I heard yeah, they, they talked about, they talked about this. They all were black. Yeah, Um, but it wasn't coordinated and it just happened.
Speaker 2They just showed up for a funeral.
Speaker 1And then Brock pretty showed up like he was.
Speaker 2The funniest story was like this man ain't coming in here in his $75. $75. Shitting 42 points on you.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2I think it was like the. I think the original post was like this guy really came in a $75 outfit from Coles and put his shoes on your couch. That's hilarious. Twitter's like so undefeated now.
Speaker 1X.
Speaker 3I don't know.
Speaker 1It's X? Nope, no, I don't. It would like to be identified as.
Speaker 2X. Nope, sorry, pick a lane buddy.
Speaker 1There's no bird anymore. It is the letter X.
Speaker 2Nope, so when you, when you're on X, what do you? What do you, what do you post?
Speaker 1X's. You post um tweets. You post Zyzix, Zyzix. Is that what it's called?
Speaker 2No, it's actually a city, um, but you know it was, it was a, it was a, it was a good game. The whole green law with the guy on the sideline issues was uh pretty dumb. Oh, with the Dom, with Dom, with the head of security and assistant GM something, but like they gave him some, he is somebody's uncle's, brother's son or something and he just got a job with the Eagles. You know what I mean.
Speaker 1Well, I mean they're pretty strict on the sideline stuff. I mean I wouldn't be surprised if they made an example.
Speaker 2They should, because this guy was literally in the white borderline, where he shouldn't be, and he, like he put his hands on. He put his hands on the player and he put his hands on the ref too.
Speaker 1Is that what he did?
Speaker 2That's what I saw, that's what you saw and that's how green and green law wasn't punching him. Anyone who says he was punching him is like they're trying to like, make it worse.
Speaker 1It didn't look like you were trying to punch him. Yeah, it's, it's what he was saying.
Football Game Tickets Scam Awareness
Speaker 2He was saying that Dom had like put his like pointed in his like face or in his general direction. So that's why he put it in his face Like how do you like it? You know what I'm saying and you know. And the Shanahan reaction was funny because he said like yeah, he got a foul green law. He lifted the guy. He knows he's not supposed to, but that guy was hella light. Wait what.
Speaker 2He said something like that. Guy was really light and Drake ended up picking him up and bringing him down and he knows he can't do that, but it happened. I was like yo, that's hella funny, Shanahan, like a little jab at that, you know he's a little guy. And then all the Eagles fans are out there crying like um, oh, that hit on, uh on on. Swift was flicking a defenseless receiver and dude, what's the name? Lemon, a Lemonar.
Speaker 2No I know why he, like literally took two steps, led with his shoulder and hit him square the chest. It was a very clean hit.
Speaker 1Very clean it was.
Speaker 2he hit him so hard. He started T bowing Like it was wild. He was on one. He was on one knee for a second. It was like please help me.
Speaker 1I was like dude, I'm gonna be surprised if he walks up.
Speaker 2Yeah, that was tight.
Speaker 1That was insane. Well, we got, we, we just dropped 42.
Speaker 2We dropped 42 on the Cowboys too.
Speaker 1Yeah, but then after the Cowboys, we lost three in a row.
Speaker 3Don't worry about that.
Speaker 1That's different. This is a different team we signed a new, we signed a cornerback safety.
Speaker 2Yeah, he used to be with. I think, though he's not a journeyman, but he's had, like he's played for a couple of teams, like I think they're playing for the Patriots. He played for the Patriots. Yeah, he's just a good backup Super.
Speaker 1Bowls. We got one server. He's the Patriots Probably.
Speaker 2All I know is that he's he's for depth. You know, the sad part is we waved Tarion Davis Price. I know he was a third round running back and I just one. I just think, didn't think there was just no space in the running back room. He's at McCaffrey who literally takes 98% of the snaps.
Speaker 1They can't downgrade to practice squad.
Speaker 2I think he has to clear waivers first and then sign to practice squad.
Speaker 1Yeah, I'm gonna do that, or you think I'm gonna pick them up?
Speaker 2Yeah, I mean maybe Miami picks them up or maybe, stupid ass, seattle picks them up. It's like what's the place? What's the what's place the tuning is gonna mention like come on, what's the place? Yeah, that's what. Seattle is rejects and like, try to make them better than they are damn, this is a damn we do the same thing, so wow, so yeah, I'm pretty excited for this homestretch.
Speaker 1I'm pretty excited I mean I'm working that the next game yeah, I'm home a Sunday. I feel bad for my cousin. He got scammed.
Speaker 3Oh.
Speaker 1He got scammed. I was telling you last night.
Speaker 2That's not trying to get your tickets. Dude, I'm sold out. Well, we're gone.
Speaker 1Really yeah, how long were they?
Speaker 2They're just there, they're gone. They've been a gun for a while, the one that last time we had with the Ravens one how much is usually a ticket on the hundredth section? So Face the secrets of ticket sales secret. So the face, face value of my tickets and my row. My section is 250, 250 for club level yeah, so it used to be. It used to be 200 250 bucks for club level. Well, what is that my level?
Speaker 2No you're like on the field, I'm not. If I was on the field I Would know, man, because I would be out there. I'm never on the fucking field. So yeah, we're One section 110, you know, so we're pretty, we're in that. You know, you've sat there the that end zone like corner end zone.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, it's a great spot, and uh, yeah, it's like it used to be 200. Now it's like they was 225, now it's 250. So I used to sell them to 250 to my friends and stuff just to make a little bit, but now it's like I might have to something like 275.
Speaker 1How much are people like selling them?
Speaker 2Well, like, so like the divisional games are going around like 300, 325, the big ones like the Dallas game. Yeah, that was like that one. I think my dad put them a little low so that they I think they sold for like 450.
Speaker 1I was gonna say 5600, bro.
Speaker 2Yeah, I told him, but he's like that. No, he's like, but he because they're they're always afraid of like going too high and then not selling, but I'm always like we could always lower this is like a season where it's like Well, I mean, you got to like read the season in terms of like, like, if we're good, then yeah, we should keep them high. The bangles sold for like 450, something like 425, something like that. The, uh, the ravens sold for like, for something like that, yeah, 460. I think, for I know people.
Speaker 1They're still trying to get us to work that day. I'm not working Christmas day. Nope, sorry, sorry, nope, sorry. I was about to and then just I was like you're gonna miss your sons first Christmas and I'm like Now I'm not working.
Speaker 3I was like oh, that's right, you're right, yeah, no way, dude.
Speaker 2Yeah, so it was like. It was like, man, I was like those the last things we had, and I'm glad they sold, like I didn't have to sell them to like a friend or anything, because it's like that's a, that's a team that doesn't come out here often, you know, so I'd hope oh, ravens, I thought he was on my Seattle. No, no ravens again. I was like man yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah, my cousin, yeah, he's like hey, I'm gonna take so-and-so To the game he doesn't know yet I was like I don't want to name names because yeah, don't need, I don't know, but uh, I was like, oh, that's cool. And then he goes, Unless I got scanned, ha ha. And I was like, oh, he's just what happened exactly you apparently he went to facebook marketplace.
Speaker 2Yeah, okay.
Speaker 1And you can't what I mean.
Speaker 2It was it like oh, pay me first.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think he's held them and that was that. That's the problem, like if, and I think the price was like pretty low. And I think you got excited and if you're, if you don't, if you're not aware of yeah because, if you, because it was like section 100s right.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1And I think they were selling it for like 100 bucks or something.
Speaker 2Oh.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, that was like a sarcastic. Oh, I think you're just like no. I mean like that's tough I mean 100 for 100, because even for me I was like you're buying tickets for section 100 I mean I, I worked the stadium, I know where everything's at now and it's like that for that area and you're selling it for like 100 bucks for two or something. It was like something to. I think it was like for two or something.
Speaker 1It was like 150 for two or something, I think it was like oh, okay, you know what?
Speaker 2Okay, I thought he got scanned for like maybe 400 bucks or something.
Speaker 1No. I mean 150 still a lot of money, but I mean Could have been a lot well, I don't necessarily know how much he spent got you but From what I saw on facebook marketplace and for what he told me he bought it at, or for what he told me he was, what section he got.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1I could kind of deduce like it should have been way more. Probably got excited. Oh, I got a deal.
Speaker 2So he zeld him, and then he never got the tickets, obviously.
Speaker 1Well, he never got tickets and the guy never responds.
Speaker 2Did he? Is his account still open? I don't normally sometimes like when, as soon as you, as soon as money received, they like close the the account.
Speaker 1They probably did.
Speaker 2Yeah, that's a good sign. It's a scam.
Speaker 1They can't do anything to get the money back. Huh.
Speaker 2Here's the thing for all you people out there who are buying on facebook marketplace or Offer up or people will offer up they have protection, you know? I mean, if you're doing like let's just say like craigless deals and stuff like that, and you're using, let's say, venmo or don't use Zell, there's no Protection on zell.
Speaker 1So it's true, huh.
Speaker 2There's no protect. I mean you got to add their number and their name. You know what I mean to use zell. So I don't know, there's a work around around that you know. But in venmo there's a good in services. There's a way to do goods and services to protect You're self. Same on same with PayPal goods and services. It's a little bit more like if I'm selling you something for 100 bucks and we do goods and services, on my end there's like a 10 11 dollar charge For protection, so my profit is less. So that's why I would tell if I'm selling pokemon stuff like cards, I tell them like it's a hundred, uh, it's a hundred zell. Or it's like 115 PayPal goods and services.
Speaker 1Oh, that makes sense.
Speaker 2So it just covers my shit. You know, and most people want the goods and services because if something happens then you can always Refund the money and stuff like that.
Speaker 1So damn, so you can't do that.
Speaker 2I don't think so unless they change it. I've I've never had a Well I I only sell people that I know I don't sell like. I try not to use zell for uh For like random transactions and stuff unless we're like face to face. That's fucked up for product, you know.
Speaker 1I feel bad. Yeah, that's why, when he told me that he's like I think I got scammed. Fuck, I think I got scammed and I'm like fuck man. Uh I was like let me try to figure out something. That's why I hit you up, because I'm like, oh, if he has tickets, so I'll just buy them off you and then give it to him.
Speaker 2Yeah, but you, you want, they wanted for the Seattle game, huh.
Speaker 1Yeah, fuck, you have any other games, maybe I could do that.
Speaker 2I mean, right now we could talk off air.
Speaker 1Oh, we could talk off air.
Speaker 2Yeah, we'll talk about it off. Yeah, that's.
Speaker 1Seattle warrior game or the, was it? No, no, the niner warrior game. That's it. That's a special one.
Ozempic and Promotions at Hyper Strengthening Conditioning
Speaker 2Tell your cousin the niner warrior game. It only cost 50 dollars 50 dollars.
Speaker 1Is this zel, me zel, or do you want um? Do you want?
Speaker 2free membership free membership done. Do you want to get paid in pennies? That'd be terrible, man um.
Speaker 1Yeah, but On top of the wall beside that, we'll figure something out. Yeah, we'll figure something out but, um, yeah, this is uh, this is getting into the near end of the season, so it's getting close, man, it's exciting.
Speaker 2Do you believe that we're like In the in like the later part of the fucking season already, like? I feel like we were just talking about like?
Speaker 1Junior was born before the season started.
Speaker 2Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 1I know we're like Towards, like gearing up towards the last, like quarter of the season last, I think last third of the season right, it just goes back like it's crazy man fast.
Speaker 2These months have been moving and grooving.
Speaker 1And we're going to the end of the year, which means people are looking into New year's resolutions.
Speaker 2No fast ways to you know what that means. That means.
Speaker 1Not really. I mean maybe for the big box gyms, but for us it's a little bit different check out Hypersharing, the conditioning in January for their next promotion. It's the same promotion. New members, starting at the San Jose region looking for some guidance and want some one-on-one attention there you go or walk at work in a small group setting with the guidance of a coach. Yes, you can reach out to hyper strengthening conditioning with our Kickstarter program. Fitted too busy working professionals who are looking to lose weight, build muscle.
Speaker 2Yep.
Speaker 1Have a sense of guidance.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1I think we're starting at 297 for the Kickstarter program.
Speaker 2Is that in January?
Speaker 1the Kickstarter program starts it. We're ready. We're ready promoting it.
Speaker 3I think I.
Speaker 1I think I upped it to 347 at one point, but for January, january only let's go, we're gonna go 297, you're gonna get three personal training sessions and one month of unlimited classes. Let's go and and a nutrition appointment to break down your nutrition.
Speaker 2There you go, and if you bring a friend, your Frankie, get in at 297 as well.
Speaker 3Yes.
Speaker 2Marketing marketing.
Speaker 1I appreciate you guys. I mean this is a shameless plug. I mean I mean the the gym is the reason why I can actually do a podcast with a good friend of mine.
Speaker 2So I mean it's great, so yeah, but remember, so the promotion starts. It's going on, but the the real promotion starts in January, and if you bring two friends it's 297. Wait what? The whole lot, what it's tonight's the per person.
Speaker 1Random promos now do the same time out, okay, okay. Anyways, people get a look at her for spent looking for the magic pill. So what you told me this last podcast? Cuz you caught my attention with this new pill that everyone's been on and I know people have been on it for this last year or so. But it's called Osemic.
Speaker 2And to correct you, it's not a pill, it's an injection. Oh, it's an injection. Yeah, because it's originally made for people with diabetes to help control insulin and their blood sugar. Yeah but a side effect is how you lose weight, so it's a huge size.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's like the Viagra for weight loss right now it is.
Speaker 2Yeah, it's like the magic drug that like everybody wants, because it's like I could. I could be like V shred and I could eat all the.
Speaker 1Cores. I want and this came to prominence what 2022? Yeah, it was like 20.
Speaker 2End of 2021 is when, like it started coming out, oh, and people were starting to use it, and then 2022 was when like, really like. Took off everyone's like you know publicly, 2021 was more of like the A-listers that were like Don't tell me, buddy.
Speaker 1Of course.
Speaker 2That's how it is, you know, and then that in 2022 it was more like mainstream and like the beef stars, the D stars, the influencers started using it. You know what I mean. So, but I mean you'd like not like everything out there. There's no special drug, you know. I mean there's side effects and there's people who've had bad side effects and it's scary stuff.
Speaker 1Well, let's talk about it. Yeah, I went ahead and asked our AI sidekick, henry, to kind of give us a breakdown of what what a zempik is, and he gave us. He gave us a little breakdown of it. Thank you, henry, you're welcome. So zempik generic name. Generic generic name Simaglutide.
Speaker 2Can we give Henry a voice? You should give him a voice. She read it like in a robotic tone.
Speaker 3Ozempik generic name some aglutide is a medication primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes. It is part of a class of drugs known as GLP-1 receptor agonist. Here's how it works and its uses. Number one mechanism of action Ozempik works by mimicking the effects of an ectretin hormone called GLP-1 glucagon. Like peptide-1, this hormone is naturally released after eating and helps to regulate blood sugar levels in several ways. Number two blood sugar control. When you take ozempik, it increases the amount of insulin produced by your pancreas. When your blood sugar is high, insulin is a hormone that helps to lower blood sugar levels. Number three Reduce glucagon production. Ozempik also decreases the amount of glucagon your body makes. Glucagon is a hormone that increases blood sugar levels, so by reducing its production, ozempik helps to lower blood sugar levels. Number four Slows gastric emptying. The medication slows down the emptying of the stomach, which leads to more gradual absorption of nutrients into the bloodstream. This helps in reducing spikes in blood sugar levels after me meals. Number five appetite suppression.
Speaker 1Just lost the, the access Started going off somewhere, bro, you did.
Speaker 2You had a little Filipino in there.
Speaker 1Yeah, so he goes, the list goes on and on tons of benefits. I mean the use in tip type 2 diabetes. It is primarily used for the management of type 2 diabetes, often in combination with diet and exercise to improve blood Sugar control. Potential weight loss benefits while it's not a weight loss medication per se, some people may experience weight loss as a side effect due to reduce appetite and slower gastric emptying.
Speaker 2So that's the thing. So people, the horror side of ozempik is that people will take it and it actually Slows down the bowel system, yo, so you don't shit and they don't shit for how long we're like. I think I've read like someone went like three to four days without shitty.
Speaker 1Well, you got shit in your shit, yeah, and it's just like for like.
Speaker 2Yeah, I mean, I look at what I forgot the term was, but it was. It was insane.
Speaker 3Well.
Real Experiences With Ozempic
Speaker 1While you're looking that up, I'm gonna let people know that we are actually going to look up what are we looking at? This is actually a story ten months old. I'm gonna leave out the username, but it is in the subreddit from lose it or lose it. We started to lose it on reddit and the title of the story is called sharing my real experience with ozempik. Did you find what you were looking for? Well, I'm gonna dive into this story, I'll have it ready, I'm gonna dive into the story man.
Speaker 1Drop it from this user. You guys could find it if you go. It's like the first one that comes up Sharing my experience, my real experience with ozempik. I caught the post Yesterday about people lying about ozempik and was too late to the party to share my experience. Mm-hmm, I worked with my doctor last night. Oh, I'm sorry guys.
Speaker 2I.
Speaker 1Worked with my doctor last summer and was prescribed ozempik for weight loss. At the time I was 38 years old, six foot two and 365 pounds, and I am a male. At the time I had just done my annual checkup and all my blood work was normal no hi, a1c, no high cholesterol, sodium, etc. Etc. As a bit of a backstory on this, in the past I pretty much would just eat until the food in front of me was gone. That's what I was taught growing up eat until your plate is clean. It's a habit I've struggled with and have yet to overcome. I don't really know the difference between hungry and not full. For me it's basically I'm hungry and then, holy shit, I'm so fucking stuff that could pop. So later Some. So last summer my doc started me on ozempik at point two, five milligram weekly dosages. I was at this dose for about three months and it then increased to point five Milligrams weekly. For the first two months the change was absolutely Unfreaking, believable. I would sit down to a meal, eat some and actually feel full. I was able to easily stop eating with portions of food on my plate and feel completely satisfied. In those two Months I dropped 15 pounds. In month three, I was still actually feeling full at meals, Snacking between meals less, but the weight wasn't really dropping any longer. This is why my doc this is why the doc increased it to point five milligrams after starting the point five milligram week dose. This is where it went downhill fast.
Speaker 1The side effects came on hard, fast and strong. If I ate more than, say, a half a sandwich at a meal, I would become so overwhelmingly bloated that I was burping Constantly. Wow, like literally two big burps every three minutes for hours. On top of that, at this point it made my burp smell and taste so ungodly disgusting. I think straight sulfur plus an outhouse at a NASCAR race in a summer at the end of race week, in Jesus fucking Christ. Additionally, there were three times in a two week period that I became so bloated that it made me vomit a lot and I'm not exaggerating that, it was complete projectile vomit out of my mouth and nose. It was an absolute, ungodly, horrible experience. Wow.
Speaker 1As if those side effects weren't bad enough, it also gave me horrible and controllable diarrhea that met clinical definition of severe. There were a few days where I couldn't leave the toilet for more than 10 to 15 minutes at a time. Wow, there was one night I fell asleep on the toilet because I was so tired from getting up to run To the toilet to poo Whoa. Anyways, I stopped taking ozempic. After the experience, however, working with my dox input, I did stop taking it just over a month until my system was back to normal and then tried point to five dosage again to see if I still had all the side effects or not. I did so.
Speaker 1The reason to share this is I wanted to put it out there in my real-world experience. I'm hopefully in the minority of users to get the horrible side effects and hopefully your experiences will be better than mine. The key takeaways for me is that I need to learn the difference between full and not hungry and stop treating them as the same feeling. It is also taught me. It also taught me that, yes, I indeed can actually make it by without snacking and without eating a bunch of food at every meal. Hopefully, at some point I'll build up better self-control and be able to manage that without medication.
Speaker 3Damn.
Speaker 2That's wild brah, so Severe diarrhea. Yeah, it depends on other people. There's also us. It also could cause stomach paralysis.
Speaker 2That's the thing that it makes your stomach muscle contractions weaker and slower, and they need to be to digest your food and pass into your intestines. This leads to food sitting too long into your stomach, meaning your bowel movements just not moving anymore. Oh, so you're food's like rotten inside. You're just holding it. Yeah, dude, that's. That's the the crazy part about it. Like I think she's. She's actually kind of lucky that she didn't get the stomach paralysis, that she was just getting diarrhea. She, I don't know so the stomach paralysis.
Speaker 2Like your, your bowels are not, you're just slow, you're just very slow. That's insane dude.
Speaker 1So then what?
Speaker 2I don't know, but this is what. This is what people want to do to, to, to lose weight and not have to do anything. You know what she said? It was like point five when she, when she started, point two.
Speaker 1Five was the beginning dosage and point five was when it's yeah, having of course I mean your body plateaus.
Speaker 2Of course you know when you take medication. We take trend like there's just not enough.
Speaker 3You know there's always enough train no.
Speaker 2I need to increase the dosage. But yeah, just just like anything, you take something, it works for a while because your body is not used to it and then it adapts. Your body's the Borg, you know they've adapted they've adopted.
Speaker 1Well, the top comment here is I am currently on Ozenpic, from point two, five to point five to one and now two point oh oh. I had sleeve surgery over three years ago and lost about 80 pounds after starting Ozenpic. Lost another 40 pounds on the one point oh MG dose. Unfortunately, my a1c is still not at the goal and I'm still about 65 pounds overweight, so I just started the two milligram milligram dose this week.
Speaker 1While on Ozenpic I've had diarrhea frequently, usually days, three, four and five after my injection, but nothing severe. I eat the least amount of food of my entire adult life and I feel full after just a few bites of food. I take a vitamin to eat my and eat my protein first to make sure I'm getting enough. If I went to the gym or did any sorry exercise, I'm sure my weight loss and a1c would be better. My wife tried to take it and had horrible GI issues, like OP. So I don't think this is for everyone. Some folks will lose a lot of weight and some won't. Some will tolerate it and some won't. If anyone has questions you can DM me. I'm not a doctor, just another fool trying to get healthier. Quote. Unquote is.
Speaker 2Hey, this guy just say if I went to the gym and ate better, I probably lose more weight. So this motherfucker's not doing anything other than taking Ozenpic. Yeah, what a fucking asshole. I'm sorry, dude, but like that's why that's the fucking problem with People want that magic, I'll say this was wrong with America right here. Oh, there it is, they are they want, and we're here, and we're here. They want the results, but they don't want to put the work in you know I'm saying we.
Speaker 1Deserve it the results we deserve it.
Speaker 2I want this. We deserve the result. I want it now. It's my money.
Speaker 3I want it now freedom into this world.
Speaker 2No, but I'm just saying like you know, I'm saying like you got this magic pill Right or this magic drug that like can help you. All you got to do is put in a little extra work to make it work Even more. So why wouldn't you know? Because you're like not, this is good enough.
Speaker 3I was good enough.
Speaker 2I'm chilling.
Speaker 1I'm chilling.
Speaker 2That's why I'm just shitting my pants on, just shit, my pants 345 after my injection. That's fine, jesus Christ, and there's. There's no way you could be taking ozempic and like bead lifting, he would not squat if I was on. Because like you're not getting. You're obviously not getting enough protein the one way like hey, you have the sandwich and I'm bloated, that's fucking.
Speaker 1You're gonna shit your pants, bro, that's true to you're gonna shit your pants, hey what'd you get past day 345?
Speaker 2Apparently, apparently. The guy who's not a doctor, just a guy just trying to lose weight by not doing workouts. That's insane. Don't get me wrong, I'm, I'm a big guy. I'm a big guy too, but I'm I'm trying to do it the right way. I'm not saying those emics not the right way, I'm just saying trying to do this one thing that's like, oh please like solve all my problems.
Speaker 1You know like but the zempik isn't even a weight loss. It's not.
Speaker 2And this guy even said yeah, my a1c still sucks like Well, maybe because you're still eating fucking triple Sundays.
Speaker 1The next comment. The next comment is Was it? I started ozempic on May 10th 2022. My weight was 367 in the office the day it was prescribed. My wife does endocrinology so she is very aware of the side effects I had. I had had and to watch out for. Her biggest bit of advice was if you feel the slightest bit full, stop eating.
Speaker 1My first week on it, I went on lunch with a friend and I don't feel I overate, but I just have. I think I had a small dinner that night. The next morning I was puking like crazy. Thankfully, though, that was the only time I have. I have had the nasty burps and horrible constipation. That word me the most because I have a. I have, you see, and I'm in remission and don't want to mess around with that. As I went up in dosage, I would hit a point that didn't feel like the medicine was working. I was constantly hungry and I was getting I wasn't getting full. I ended up switching to we gov and it's been good. Total, I have lost 68 pounds. I came off the blood pressure medication and now feel good for the first time.
Speaker 3Wow.
Speaker 2Wow, that's so you shake your pants.
Speaker 1You vomit, vomit.
Speaker 2After constipation constipation can only eat half a sandwich you can only have a sandwich. You know you blow it off your ass get bloated and then you know after day three, four, five, you're okay.
Speaker 1State three, four, five me.
Speaker 2Yeah, but my a1c still not going down.
Speaker 1I wonder why, fucking Christ, I'm still on that.
Speaker 2Further, that other guy. He's like I had the gastric sleeve, I lost 80 pounds. That's what he said. Right, he lost 80 pounds, yeah, and then he said I started taking ozampic, I lost 40 pounds. It's 120 pounds. And he's like well, I'm still 60 pounds overweight, so I'm just like so, that's like 200 pounds. He's probably like what? Maybe 400, I guess I'm just me guessing.
Speaker 1I don't know that's crazy. And he's not. He's not doing anything, I'm not doing it, not doing it, not doing anything.
Speaker 2You're only 60 pounds away from being at a healthy weight. He's like Boost it up buddy, boost it up dog more juice.
Speaker 1I need more, no, oh.
Speaker 2Jesus Christ well, hey, Jen, you got any more of those half full o2 tanks bro? Yeah, we got you spray. I need more. I need more.
Speaker 3Yeah man.
Speaker 1I mean that's what people want it now. I mean, people feel like not people, but there's a lot of people out there who feel like they deserve Something with very little effort. I want to say something.
Speaker 2I don't know how controversial hot take this would be.
Speaker 1What's the hot take?
Speaker 2I don't know if I should say it.
Speaker 3Should I say it, Say it.
Ozempic, Vaccines, and Weight Loss
Speaker 2Okay. I want a list of the people are taking ozempic but refuse to take the vaccine damn.
Speaker 1I would love to see that list. That would just be a very interesting. How is that controversial?
Speaker 2I mean cuz vaccine? Oh, there's miski. They're releasing genetically modified Mosquitoes in Florida that carry the vaccine to get. Wow yeah you haven't heard that one, oh yeah that was wild Okay but I just like to see that entertaining, but I know this will age.
Speaker 1Well, I just know for a fucking fact I'll be 60, 70 fucking years old and then the people doing the documentary on the pandemic be like what the fuck was going on here, it's like, and I'll be like my, I got my shit, oh good.
Speaker 2Mosquitoes like what I would. I just, I just like to see the list well and be like you love ozempic, but you don't want to take this. I wouldn't be surprised at the list You're like so you want?
Speaker 1you want to diarrhea Explosive at least a diarrhea is for me that's the argument like at least a diarrhea. Oh, my god, me that's why at least I knew where the diarrhea was made and not in some lab. It's some bath with some agenda.
Speaker 2You know On the other side of it, don't trust your government. I'm just kidding. No, I'm just kidding.
Speaker 1What are the One of the. I think both sides could trust you.
Speaker 2Can you uh, can you write a comment?
Speaker 1I'm not gonna know, just put sucks to suck. Wow. Well, there's a comment here going my butthole hurts just reading that. I hope you feel better.
Speaker 2Wait, losses easy and it's really not, man. You know what, you know what? Um, you know I kind of view weight loss. Now for people Like like me, who are like always been overweight and like just Are on that struggle bus, that struggle journey their whole lives to lose weight, it's kind of like a tattoo, you know. Like everyone's like how do you get rid of the tattoo? Don't get a tattoo right. It's like, well, lasers, well, how do you lose weight? When I'm a kid, you're like five years old, don't eat, no fucking shit. You know, I'm saying like that's how I'm feeling and like you know, it's just, it's just kind of funny to me. But, like you know, but everyone has their own journey.
Speaker 2It's hard but it's hard. That's why it's so hard, that that's I'm making that analogy where they're like, well, just don't get fat man. Imagine that's like the next generation. Like you want tattoos. They're gonna look bad. You know, I get rid of a tattoo.
Speaker 1Oh, don't get one, don't get one, dare to be.
Speaker 2And it is like well, we have lasers that don't hurt anymore.
Speaker 1Do they not hurt?
Speaker 2no, they, they fucking know they're painful.
Speaker 1They're worse than getting a tattoo. That's what I've seen. I.
Speaker 2I bet you they do that shit on purpose. So it's kind of like See what you get.
Speaker 1Sir, you have the intensity up to a 10. You just needed a three.
Speaker 2But you know everyone's, you know like, if you're on it, good for you. I hope you can really people just buy it.
Speaker 1What under the black market or whatever?
Speaker 2You know you're supposed to get a prescription. I guess they have people.
Speaker 1You got people I mean, people got trend, they got.
Speaker 2D ball, they got any woman.
Speaker 1You do training Ozenpic. You be buff and shit in your brain.
Speaker 2Yeah, I just couldn't like cuz. Like you said Ozenpic. Like you're not eating like half the sandwich and stuff, you're eating all these little bites Like there's no way you're getting enough protein.
Speaker 1Cuz it's not being absorbed, didn't it just didn't? One of the things was like it limits the, the absorption well, night the outside with a stomach paralysis and shit. Well that too, but it slows down the emptying of the stomach, which leads to more or more gradual, more gradual absorption of nutrients into the blood Treen but then you still just can't.
Speaker 2It also, I believe, it's setting hormones to your through your brain saying that you're full right.
Speaker 1I Mean should. I think that's one of that.
Speaker 2That's one of the one of the things in Ozenpic that it sends signals to your brain saying that you're full earlier, so you don't eat as much. You know, it's like a meal suppressant and stuff like that.
Speaker 1But the the shitting your brains out To the point where you have to fall asleep on the toilet. Yeah, Like that's how bad.
Speaker 2You want it, bro, yeah imagine you're sitting on the toilet for that long. You get up and your partner goes, sits on it like why is it so warm? Well, what if?
Speaker 1what if you? What if, in order for the Niners to win a Super Bowl? Mm-hmm you would have to take a zimba and go through day three, four and five for how long? Hello for us, for how long it ever, for probably the duration of the playoffs, oh, If I could take Pto for my work. Yeah, put me in you would take one for the teeth like Kyle, hook me up.
Speaker 2Yeah, I'm down, just get me as like a. I probably like customize the toilet a little bit With, like some pillows and stuff so that like I could sit there for hours and hours. You know I mean yeah. If you tell me what a Super Bowl, yeah, I'm in.
Speaker 3I'll suffer for I.
Speaker 2Was sufferers for the team, for the real for the, for the, for this, for the Super Bowl trophy. I get a ring, though. Right, I have to get a ring. I.
Speaker 1Don't know about that.
Speaker 2Oh.
Speaker 1I mean, but for that effort you would, you would definitely now, but I would definitely do it. I think it's up you know what I read into that it's up to the organization who gets the ring. Okay like the players could get the ring, but it's up to them, like if they want to open it to all staff.
Speaker 2Oh, yeah, honestly, I would say for the Niners, I think for this Super Bowl, the first, if they were to win one in Upcoming year or years or whatever this for like the ones that the ones who put them at six For all time, I think they would get, I would, they would give it to everybody, I think. So what?
Speaker 3do you?
Speaker 2mean Like. This is, if they were with us, let's just say they went to Super Bowl this year. This is the first one since what 95? Almost what 30 years? Now, shit, you say it like that. It's almost 30 years. But since we won a Super Bowl I think they would give a lot of the staff a ring. I think so.
Speaker 1Well, like imagine when the Warriors won the first one, I'm sure a lot of staffers so from what I heard from the hype team of the Warriors, they were able to attain the ring. Really, but they had to pay taxes.
Speaker 2Of course.
Speaker 1Taxes were like 10 G's.
Speaker 2She, but you got a ring though but you got a ring though, right. And they got the actual ring, not a modified ring.
Speaker 1Well, I think there's a player ring and a staff ring. Yeah, so I mean they got the office ring office ring.
Speaker 2Okay, yeah, because I'm about to say that's a lot of diamonds. No, the player ring is insane, like NBA rings nowadays are too insane, like you see the the Denver Nuggets one, so it's a big ass one, right. And then, like there's like a mini ring inside of it that has like the championship banner on it, so they don't want to wear the big one, they could wear the small one. It's like two rings in one.
Speaker 3Wow.
Speaker 2It's fucking extra.
Speaker 3Wow.
Speaker 2But like now, like the Warriors. I think the Warriors like 2018 one like it, like flips open or something, and shows like the three trophies or something like you did, you get a ring as a warrior fan. I got the. I got the replicas From 50, uh, especially the first one, the replica from 2015. I got that one. I think I got 2017 also did.
Speaker 1Do they have an option where you can actually get the ring ring or no?
Speaker 2I don't think so. Unless you're associated with the, I Don't think anyone would actually buy it. I mean, I'm sure there are people would, but like that's lame.
Speaker 2If you just like, you wouldn't buy a champion ring no, no, I just buy a replica To represent, like I wouldn't like if the Warriors had won this championship, and like the public. If you're a public person, you want a ring. You could buy one. It's only 25 G's or something like okay, let's be real, 50 G's or something right, I'm like I might spend 50 G's for a real championship ring. I'm just gonna wait till one of these rookies burn out and has to sell his ring at the pawn shop, or one of the staffers like oh man, I'm in this gambling hole, better sell this to the pawn shop, you know would you have you worn that replica around?
Speaker 2No, I'm not crazy, I think I. Well, it's more for my it was, it was a present, it was a Christmas gift for my dad. Oh he wore it to like the Christmas party and I think he was the only one who had one, so it was like it was like a cool, like conversation conversations like oh you got a championship ring like yeah, but in that he's it's just like on our mantle, like with the other stuff you know oh, that's cool. Yeah, but uh yeah.
Speaker 2It's cool. I wouldn't buy a real championship ring, though. That's fucking lame.
Speaker 1No, you gotta earn it.
Speaker 2You gotta earn it. Yeah, at least be part of it, like you. If you, if they said, austin, you want a Super Bowl, if you want a ring, you could, you could purchase one. I would be like, yeah, dude, you were out there dealing with these dumbass fans.
Speaker 1You know what? People don't realize how fans like. Managing fans is insane. Yeah like, especially for the amount. I mean, for the amount we do is it's fine, it's just. But I remember in training camp I was helping Fred Warner. I was helping Bosa McCrary ball some of the buffer before he knew who he was like. You know I was helping them sign autographs and doing all that stuff and we were always trying to get the kids involved. We're always trying to get it to the kids yes, of course.
Speaker 1And there was a section I was in charge of to get the kids in the front, yeah, in the front, like all kids and it just befuddled me when we had to like really calm the parents down.
Speaker 1Yeah, because they kept giving these kids like, oh, have some sign this, have him sign that, have him sign this too. And you had this fucking little like seven-year-old, five-year-old, like have like a jersey. Yeah, yeah, two hoodies, two hats. Yeah, here you go. Mr Warner, can you sign these? And like they, the players know, man, yeah, they know. And then like I'm giving them the markers and it's, it's like what kind of what color markers you use. Black. It was black, silver gold black, silver, gold.
Speaker 2Yeah my understanding I think I don't know if you heard this, but if you, they don't like using blue Because apparently if you use blue, they could like Steal the, the signature or something like that. Oh, I didn't know that that's something I read that like I think Pat Bev said something about that on the podcast like I don't sign, I don't sign stuff for kids unless it's with a black Sharpie, because they said that like Collectors and stuff can like lift the the print. I know that with if it's a blue.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's wild. Well, all I had was black, silver and gold Sharpies.
Speaker 2Yeah but you know, it's crazy how these, like Collectors and stuff like that, are always trying to get signatures or like reaching over the kids.
Speaker 1Well, it's like it's their own parents and it's like I have to be that guy To kind of push them away from the pair, from the players, and be like yo, like just let the players sign for the. This is for the kids, only for the kids only. And then and then, like I see a kid get the kids happy, he got his like hat signed right, fucking Fred Warner. He walks back to his mom and his mom and his dad's like no, no, go back. Signed the shirt to shine your shirt into thing and it's like bro, you can't. And the kids obviously like destroy it. Like he's kind, like you could tell the kids like not in on it. He's just like what, I'm good, and yeah, no, go back. And they're like confused.
Speaker 2Yeah, and it's like, and then I'm like, hey, sorry, you gotta you gotta go now.
Speaker 1It's like what it's for the kids and I'm like, don't know.
Speaker 2Like don't put that shit on me. Like, and you know what a funny story I forgot what training camp this was, but this is a Back in the day. Like I think like oh, six, probably so around there we had gone to a Niners training camp and I was already. I don't want to say it, I'm adult. But like I'm not a young kid, I'm not 78 years old, and maybe like 18, 19, something like that, and and I had a visor and I advisor, and then we're like all the players are coming by like yo man, good job.
Dinner and Parenthood Updates
Speaker 2You know like good that all that's cheering them on to keel spikes comes up to our area.
Speaker 2He was like oh, I gave him my visor and he was like signing. I was like yo to keel man, thank you for signing back with us, you know, cuz it was a year he had a great year with us. The year before he was a free agent and he signed back with us, I think for two years is all. Yeah, man, great to be. I love this area, I love to be back, you know, and that was like a Good feeling that he signed. But he signed my visor, but he like responded to what I said oh you know, and it was cool.
Speaker 2And then some other dude signed my visor to. I don't know who it was, but oh man, that was like now I think about like that's the only time I ever got something signed by a player and it's. I can't believe, I can't imagine how it feels for a kid, like for me. I was like I was rock hard. This is awesome dude. I just talked to tequila spikes man.
Speaker 1I cannot wait to take junior to his first night or game. I cannot, I guess he also like throwing junior. You have become the very person you thought to destroy.
Speaker 2But speaking like of junior stuff, mean like just how, how are things been, it's been it's been good, the dad life I mean.
Speaker 1First off, I want to say here, giselle, and I Really appreciate when you bring us dinner- yeah, these things cuz it helps us as new parents so fucking much. It's just cuz we're trying to figure out the man.
Speaker 2You know what? Here's a new segment we can do. What's for dinner. Yo, I could tell you guys what I brought Austin for dinner today.
Speaker 1What is? Yeah, so basically.
Speaker 2I'm trying to get back into my cooking game. So I went back to some recipes in my book or not my book, but my, my notebooks. So we made.
Speaker 1So Kevin's working on a cookbook, you guys no.
Speaker 2I'm gonna be talking about making a book for about two years and it'll never happen. I'm just talking about like, like, like. All my people at like culinary school, they're always like, oh, I need to save all these recipes for my book. It's like, no, you're not gonna have a book because they want to be on food network. Okay, so, um, I Was. I didn't want to make pasta, because I always make pasta, so I made gnocchi Potatoes. Like a potato, like pillow.
Speaker 1I don't think I've ever had a new every hand gnocchi, I'm pretty sure so.
Speaker 2I made a really bad choice. Why because it doesn't travel well. Oh yeah, well, you know. So, basically you know, we took potatoes, we boiled them, peeled them and then we put it in a with some flour and egg to make a dough.
Speaker 2Then we rolled them out into like long snakes and then we like chopped them up and Normally you have like this paddle that like puts the imprint on it like a shape. They like you roll it to make a shape or something. But I tried doing it with a fork on some of yours so hopefully they turned out well, and then I had to go with that. I made a pesto yes, that's oh sauce and it's.
Speaker 2This is special because we me and my parents have been growing a basil plant at our house and this is fresh basil. Oh, our garden and it's really fun, like I don't like hype myself up too much, but this pesto is really fucking good, like.
Speaker 2I bought pine nuts for it. We bought some parmesan Reggiano, like freshly shaved, some garlic and really good. So we have that. And then I made tiramisu. It's been actually been.
Speaker 2I think this was the last thing my chef taught me before I had moved back to San Jose. We made tiramisu. I forget we were doing these like pre-made dinners during. Now, there's not this, I'm sorry. That sounded really good, but this was not the last thing he taught me. Let me rewind, sorry. During the pandemic we were doing these like Special family meals. So we ended up doing a lasagna meal and we gave every, every lasagna. We gave like a salad, garlic bread, lasagna and a tiramisu. So I had gone back to this recipe and, holy shit, it made a lot. You know what I mean. So I gave, I made and I made a whole like pan for my dad because it was birthday today, and Then I was like, do I have so much extra? So I like awesome dinner done. So we did that and I bought some nice Italian hot sausage to go with the pesto. Should be nice.
Speaker 1Is it spicy, spicy.
Speaker 2I don't know.
Speaker 1No, but I'm excited. I'm excited for the food tiramisu, the ponset.
Speaker 2It's a lot. It's a lot of tiramisu too. You see how deep that thing is. Oh, I saw I'm on a cut too.
Speaker 1So I gotta figure out. I gotta figure out how I'm gonna fit that in hopefully oh, I'll think it into it, yet We'll see you're like what the hell I need to feed your child.
Speaker 2But yeah it's. I tried it this morning. I thought was really there's no rum in it or anything normally has rum, but I don't know, I just I like tiramisu as it is. I love, I love tiramisu, I don't think it needs the rum. You know there's only one place in LA that had tiramisu with rum that I really enjoyed. I forgot what the place was called, but I know it can be done where it's really good, but yeah.
Speaker 1I'm excited.
Speaker 2Yeah, should be, I'm excited.
Speaker 1Yeah, so I mean the dinner helps. Yeah, I Mean it helps just Ali, cuz she's still nursing, breastfeeding junior.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1Junior's fucking moving bro.
Speaker 2He's going through it.
Speaker 1He's rolling around twice now, getting into areas he's not supposed to how'd you get? There I know really like Before he used to just be on this like blue little circle cloth man, like chillin with his toys and all that.
Speaker 3Hmm okay.
Speaker 1Then all of a sudden I hear like wrestling, like wrestling a bag, and I'm like the fuck is that? Look, he got to like one of, like the. I put all my like, I put these old clothes into this garbage bag and I put it aside. I was, I'm gonna put it here, he's not gonna touch it. Fucker, went all the way there and start grabbing it, I'm like hey, come here, what do you do?
Speaker 2But I'm boring. He's exploring, yeah, he is he's uh.
Speaker 1And then this week is the first Week for just out to go back to work and for me to start getting back into a rhythm and and trying to find.
Speaker 2Is she going back into the office?
Speaker 1Oh, office like office office, yeah, a few times a week okay which is, I mean, it's fine when she's there, because we actually found that it's harder for her to work from home. Oh, because she can't disassociate being a mom versus work, so she.
Speaker 2So it's easier for her to work, but she's at work.
Speaker 1Yeah, so she needs to be. So what do you?
Speaker 2guys do with junior.
Speaker 1So when the place, in the time, the days that she works from home, she She'll work in the these co spaces that we're in right now. Oh, okay these co spaces and then these co-working spaces and then I will be watching junior. Well, I'm trying to do my stuff on my laptop. I'll got you, but from from my type of work, I can kind of I can dictate what I do. Mm-hmm, how I manage things.
Speaker 2It's pretty chill. But what happens when Giselle goes to the office? What's the game plan?
Speaker 1Ah, we give the grandparents watch him okay, and then I'm at the gym and I'm talking to the staff.
Speaker 2So I mean Giselle works what she goes. What in like Monday, wednesday, friday, or Is it just neat Like as needed basis?
Speaker 1several times a week.
Speaker 2Yes, monday could change you can maybe, if she goes on a Tuesday, you drop off junior to the grandparents Teton.
Speaker 1I was, I was thinking that, think, I think we might entertain that next Tuesday.
Speaker 3Okay.
Speaker 1Got to, we got an 18, we got doing it. You know what?
Speaker 2yeah, yeah, we got to like it. Years almost done, we should get.
Speaker 1I mean, this is how we started that's true, I mean we started like a January kind of late.
Speaker 2December. No, we you and me started in January. You and I Separately started end of December.
Speaker 1Yeah, I mean so yeah.
Speaker 2Yeah, it's.
Speaker 1Tuesday.
Speaker 2Tuesday. Maybe Don't listen to this. She's gonna be like should I go on to work on Tuesday like only?
Speaker 1Only if you need to, only if you need to. There's a crazy project going on but on to.
Speaker 2Based on what you're saying, you should probably go in you should definitely go on. I'll drop them off at the. Enough time for two rounds 36 holes in one day that's why we go man, that's what we need a cart for sure.
Speaker 1It's called the nerd at workout tour.
Speaker 2Wow, we only play two rounds in one day and we're done and we're tired.
Speaker 1Yeah why me what's your score?
Speaker 2I mean, that's how you said that's how it used to be. What like golf tournaments, you used to play like two rounds a day. Well, let's do it like back in. Well, if you watched, uh, what was that show, that movie, the greatest game ever?
Speaker 1played. Yeah, I love watching that movie. Yeah. Transform like the transformers, the.
Speaker 2Autobots turn into the clothes.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's all I'm saying. The Shilabah was there Like a base, perfect sense.
Speaker 2Optimist driver Mega putter mega putter. Star sandwich, star star wedge, star wedge. I Love it. It's so good. Michael Bay, if you're listening, you're welcome.
Speaker 1Just saying it's a great next transformers the great spin-off.
Speaker 2Transformers, the dark side of the green and Lincoln Park. Bro, yeah, perfect, I will do it, yeah, done.
Speaker 1Yeah, all right. Yeah, well, that that's dad life, speaking of which I have to get back to dad life in a bit. But uh any any last words for this episode, kevin and Just try your hardest, even if.
Speaker 2Even if you suck, you got to try hard. Always give it your best, that's all I can so one stop suck, sucking. Don't stop suck, sucking, sucking as part of sucking, sucking as part of victory.
Speaker 1It's you better, makes you better. You know what I know. You know that saying perfect practice makes perfect.
Speaker 2Perfect practice. It's from Vince Lombardi, okay, okay, say it one more time perfect, practice and perfect.
Speaker 1I was like. I was like practice doesn't make perfect, it's perfect, practice makes perfect.
Speaker 3That's dumb.
Speaker 1So, yeah, I don't as much as I love. I Love and I'm sure a lot of my coaching colleagues will disagree with me in the football space I. That is one quote I do not agree with no like you, practice to fuck up so you can get better.
Speaker 2Yeah, you just got to see where you suck at out.
Speaker 1You gotta upgrade your mistakes. Mm-hmm or else, like I'm pretty sure when you watch film, you watch where you fucked up, not where you're like. Look at this Run I made. This is great. Look at this perfect run.
Speaker 2No, like, let's be real, like you know, when you practice and stuff, it's not like oh, we had a perfect practice, guys. Yeah, well, there's nothing. You show me a perfect practice, you and I'll show you the best practice.
Speaker 1You know I mean yeah, but it's like, come on, it's just one of those motivational things that are like but it needs to be applied, yeah, especially when you're coaching our kids. Yeah, I'm coming from high school.
Speaker 2Well, you come to kids like you guys suck. Okay, I Think the best thing for kids nowadays like when they're in like sports and stuff let's just be absolutely honest with them. Oh yeah, like, look guys, you're not six, five, you're not built like a 30 year old man at 14.
Speaker 1Well, one of the first conversations I say, or one of the first things I say to a team when I'm coaching one of them high school team, is that you know the worst place and I've been taught this by my head coach when I played is like you know the worst places you can learn playing football is from the NFL, when you're watching the NFL, because it's like you're not a six foot three. No, I mean, maybe one of you are. Yeah, maybe Then we could talk, maybe, but for the majority of y'all, nope, you ain't. You ain't him right now. No, you're not even a he, you don't know yet. No, no, so you know, just be better, just practice to be better progress. Practice makes progress and progress is great.
Speaker 2I always say just be, just get a little bit better than the day before that's all this one percent better.
Speaker 1I'm sitting better.
Speaker 2You know, that's all it is.
Speaker 1All right, yeah, very good.
Speaker 2Hey.
Speaker 1Wow, let's go. That's a new one.
